FAQ
Can the bot withdraw my funds or send them somewhere else?
No. The Move contract only allows withdrawals with the OwnerCap in your wallet. The bot operates in atomic sessions that enforce a minimum return on-chain — otherwise the transaction fails. See Vaults.
What happens if XERION's servers go down?
Your capital sits on-chain in your vault, not with us. Simply nobody trades for you anymore until things are back — you can withdraw any time via your OwnerCap, if needed directly against the contract, independent of our infrastructure.
My wallet won't connect. What do I check?
- Make sure your wallet is set to Mainnet — XERION doesn't run on testnet or devnet.
- Allow popups for
app.xerion.finance— Slush opens a popup window to connect and to sign; a blocked popup looks like nothing happened. - Refresh the page and try again — a stuck wallet-connect modal usually clears with a reload.
- If you use a browser extension wallet, make sure it's unlocked before you click Connect.
Why don't I see my balance / deposit / vault?
Almost always a stale page, not a missing deposit:
- Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows/Linux, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to bypass the browser cache.
- Check the transaction on Suiscan with your wallet address — if it's confirmed there, your funds are safe on-chain even if the UI hasn't caught up.
- Make sure you're looking at the same wallet address the deposit came from — switching accounts in your wallet switches your session too (see below).
I switched accounts in my wallet and now I'm signed out. Why?
Your session is tied to exactly one address. Switching accounts (or disconnecting) ends that session by design — reconnect and sign in again with the account you want to use.
Why do I see a browser warning on my first visit?
xerion.finance and app.xerion.finance are young domains without much browsing history. Chrome's "enhanced Safe Browsing" warns generically about rarely visited sites. The connection is TLS-secured (Let's Encrypt) and the domain isn't flagged as dangerous by Google — the warning fades as usage grows.
Do I have to pay to sign in?
No. Sign-in is a signed message (no gas, no transaction). Gas is only spent on real actions: creating a vault, depositing, withdrawing.
How do I withdraw, and how long does it take?
Click Withdraw in the app, sign with your wallet — done. Sui finality is under a second. There are no lock-up periods and no manual approval.
What if I lose my OwnerCap?
The OwnerCap is the only withdrawal key. If you lose your wallet and seed phrase, vault access is gone too — same as with any self-custody solution. We can't help by design. Protect your seed phrase.
Which wallets are supported?
Slush (including zkLogin sign-in via Google — no extension needed) and any Sui wallet extension that supports the Wallet Standard. Your wallet must be set to Mainnet.
How am I charged for a strategy?
Only through the performance fee: 10% of profit above your high-water mark (8% if paid in $XER). No profit, no fee. See the worked example on the Fees page.
How do I recognize a phishing attempt?
Real XERION always signs at app.xerion.finance, and the sign-in message always starts with that domain. See the checklist on the Security page. We never ask for your seed phrase, and we never DM you first.
Is this investment advice?
No. XERION is software. Strategies can lose money — only invest what you can afford to lose.
